As a Registrar and Transfer Agent, SAG RTA actively & Passionately carries out the Following Functions:
- Securities
dematerialisation via NSDL & CDSL depositories (by converting physical certificates into electronic form). - Facilitates the procurement of a duplicate share certificate when the original one is lost or damaged.
- Checks and confirms the distribution of dividends/interest via ECS directly into the investor’s bank account, as per SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India) guidelines.
- Ensures the revalidation of the dividend within the validity period when the shareholder is unable to encash the dividend warrant.
- Expedites the Reporting of transfer & dematerialisation for investors & shareholders.
- Helps in transferring the share certificate in a tangible form, which is done via the SH-4 share transfer form.
- Systematically and unfailingly reports data managed under data management on behalf of investors at regular intervals.
- Facilitates the IEPF claim settlement by transferring the unpaid/unclaimed amount to the IEPF.
- Checks and keeps up-to-date records of all important data, including personal data & transactions such as sales and purchases, under the experts’ guidance to save time and money.
- Organising meetings for personal interaction.
- Assist with name changes, name deletion, alterations in signature or address, transmission, and transposition for the investors.
