The transmission of shares<\/strong> refers to the process of devolution of the title (ownership) to shares either due to the death of the holder or because of succession or inheritance. In any case, if you wish to file a request for transmission of shares from a deceased owner to a legal heir, this is the affidavit you need to file and submit with the Registrar and Transfer agent<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n

The applicant may be required to make some declarations and provide adequate proofs in support of his\/her claim.<\/p>\n\n\n

Important Notes:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
  1. The Affidavit must be submitted on a Non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 100\/-, or should be duly attested and affirmed by Notary.<\/li>
  2. Please do not just type this format as it is. Kindly provide the details as per the documents you are attaching. <\/li>
  3. This Declaration can only be filed by the legal heirs who must provide a self-attested copy of the PAN card as identity proof. <\/li>
  4. A Maximum of three legal heirs can apply for transmission. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    How to File?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    The affidavit form includes the following sections:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Provide your name,\nshareholder\u2019s name, age, your current address and other details\nwith the declaration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Details of The Deceased, Folio, etc.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Enter shareholder\u2019s\nname along with share and folio details, including the company name,\nfolio no., share certificate no., face value, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    2. Confirmation of Shareholder\u2019s Death<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Provide the time and\ndate of the death of the shareholder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    3. Details of Heirs<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Provide details of all the legal heirs of the deceased (shareholder), including their names, age, relationship with the person, and addresses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    4. Confirmation of Ownership<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    By reading this, you\nare declaring that the said shares were solely and completely owned\nby the deceased.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    5. Confirmation of Succession<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    You declare that the\nheirs mentioned in clause 3 are legally entitled to inherit the said\nshares of the deceased.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    6. Declaration of Exclusivity<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Hereby you confirm\nthat the person\/s mentioned in clause 3 are the only living, legal\nheirs of the deceased.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    7. Non-producing\nof Probate \/Succession Certificate \/ Letters Of Administration<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Hereby you declare\nthat you, along with other applicants (heirs) if any, have already\nexecuted indemnity bond for transmission of the said shares in your\nname\/s with producing Probate of Will \/Succession Certificate \/\nLetters of Administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
